Ian qualified as a Chiropractor with a masters degree in Chiropractic from McTimoney College of Chiropractic in early 2013.Before establishing Total Balance Clinic in 2013, Ian gained over 15 years experience in the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer, group exercise instructor, specialising in Pilates, and a soft tissue and massage therapist for health clubs, charities and various health care clinics across the Home Counties.Ian is a keen sportsman in activities including cycling, swimming, mountaineering, climbing and Judo. This has led him to develop a passionate interest in the treatment and management of his own and other people's injuries and rehabilitation through his education and training so far.He is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly attends additional training or update seminars and conferences. Ian is first and foremost a chiropractor, but firmly believes all patients are individual and therefore, when appropriate, incorporates additional techniques into his treatment, including soft tissue (massage) work, exercise, stretching and the patient use of foam rollers or Kinesio taping.
